Lina has built a successful business portfolio extending across oil and gas, mining, logistics, telecommunications, and real estate. She underpins an MBA from the International University of Monaco with extensive West African, Middle Eastern, and European experience. 

Lina was responsible for the recapitalization and restructuring of CAP Energy Plc in 2012. She holds directorships in Global Energy Trade Ltd, Sphere Petroleum QSC, TAOL Ltd, CAP Energy Plc, NICAP Nigeria Ltd, and HARU Energy Nigeria Ltd. 

Marco Magnahi

Chief Operating Officer

Marco has extensive experience in the natural resources and construction sectors predominantly in Nigeria and China, having held top managerial positions and directorships at De Simone Nigeria Ltd, Cappa D’Alberto Nigeria Ltd, Unital Nigeria Ltd, Bouygues Nigeria Ltd, White Peak Hong Kong Ltd, La Dolce Vita Tianjin China Ltd. Marco currently is a Director of Geosintesi S.P.A, a privately owned Italian industrial and electrical company.

Folarin Lajumoke

Chief Geophysicist

Folarin is an experienced geophysicist with over 20 years experience in energy and mining. He is a fellow of the Royal Geological Society of London and holds an MSc from the University of Wales. He is a postgraduate Oxbridge alumni and is also currently reading Energy Systems at St. Catherine’s College, Oxford. His work experience covers time spent at Shell, Goldman Sachs, CGG and Senior positions at TGS and ION Geophysical.

Feliciano Palma

Chief Mining Engineer

Mr Palma is a highly acclaimed mining engineer with over 32 years experience in the mining industry in Africa. Feliciano served as the Senior Advisor to the Nigerian Raw Material Research and Development of solid minerals. He is the President and Principal Engineer of Arbaroba for Mali, Guinea, Niger, Nigeria, Ghana, Burkina, Ethiopia and Liberia. He is a member in the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin and previously served in the faculty of Geological Engineering at the University of Utah.

Judith Smith

Chief Sustainability Officer

Judith has worked as a project and development management consultant in energy generation, heavy industrial, oil and gas, aviation, mining, telecommunications and real estate development. She is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. Judith brings 21 years of hands-on West African experience with a focus on critical project delivery in challenging environments to the private and public sectors in Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal and Cameroon, and extensive experience in the Southern African region.

Maher Itani

Chief Financial and Analytics Officer

Maher is a seasoned financial analyst and business developer with more than 15 years of experience in the MEA across multiple industries. Maher holds and Executive MBA from ESCP Business school and worked closely with private sector companies in the technology, energy and renewables industries in an advisory capacity for M&A, valuation and public offering structuring.

Chanelle George

Head of Investor Relations

Chanelle has a corporate finance background specialised in the mining and upstream oil and gas sectors and has worked extensively in the West African region. Prior to joining GATN, she held Investor Relations roles at publicly listed companies including ArcelorMittal S.A, CAP Energy Plc, Heritage Oil Plc, and Technip Energies S.A. Chanelle holds an MSc in Energy Management from the IFP School, Paris and BI Norwegian Business School, Oslo.
